Parking Garages
My love for parking garages started quite innocently. While visiting Salt Lake City, I was searching for a better view of the skyline and came across a few suggestions online: “Try the rooftops of parking garages.” So I did — and that’s where it began.
Now, whenever I travel, I find myself seeking out parking garages during my photo walks. These man-made structures elevate your perspective to new heights you can’t reach at ground level. The views are breathtaking, offering a fresh way to see a city’s architecture, rhythm, and light.
Even inside, each level reveals its own framed moments — lines, shadows, and shapes that turn the ordinary into something unexpectedly beautiful. What began as curiosity has turned into a quiet fascination, a reminder that inspiration often comes from the most overlooked places.
