One Photo a Month

I’m working on a small photography project. Once a month, I’ll choose one photograph. It will be printed as a 5×7 image and sent by mail.

Not a digital download.
Not something to scroll past.

A small piece of art you can hold in your hands.

What is this?

This is a photography project built around physical photographs.

Once a month, you’ll receive a printed photograph through the mail — something you can hold, place somewhere, or return to over time.

In a world where most images live on screens and disappear with a swipe, this is an invitation to experience photography as a physical object again

Why does this exist?

Most photographs are seen once and then forgotten.

We also live in a subscription world.
Subscriptions renew quietly in the background, often forgotten.

Finally, a person can hold their subscription in their hands.

This project is meant to slow things down.

Each photograph also includes a small QR code that links to a short story about the image — where it was taken, what caught my attention, or what was happening in that moment.

Reading the story is optional.
The photograph always stands on its own

A note about this being a subscription

This project will be offered as a monthly paid membership.

The exact price hasn’t been finalized yet, but the intention is to keep it around the cost of a latte — something affordable, simple, and easy to keep.

I know what it feels like to manage subscriptions — I have them too.
Because of that, I’m designing this to feel worth it, not forgettable.

The focus will always remain on one photograph, once a month — delivered as a physical print.

As a small thank-you, each month one subscriber will be randomly selected to receive a complimentary larger print (8×10) along with their photograph.

About the photographs

Each month, I choose one photograph and send it as a printed image through the mail. The photograph arrives as a surprise.

Where is this right now.

This project isn’t live yet.

I’m taking my time to get it right.

At launch, this project will begin in the U.S.
If you’re outside the U.S. and interested, you’re still welcome to sign up — I’ll share updates if international shipping becomes available.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions? Take a look at the FAQ or reach out anytime.

  • Each monthly photograph will be sent as a 5×7 print on quality paper. The focus is on having a physical photograph you can live with, not on technical specs.

  • No. Each photograph is chosen by me and arrives as a surprise. Trusting that choice is part of the experience.

  • Some images may appear online at some point. Still, the experience of receiving the photograph in the mail — and the story that accompanies it — is meant to feel personal and separate from social media.

  • Each print includes a small QR code that links to a short story about the photograph. It might share where it was taken, what caught my attention, or what was happening at the time.

Reading it is optional. The photograph always stands on its own.

  • No. This will be a month-to-month membership. You’ll be able to cancel or pause if you decide it’s no longer for you.

  • The final price hasn’t been announced yet, but the intention is to keep it around the cost of a latte — something accessible and easy to justify month to month.

  • Each month, one subscriber is randomly selected to receive a complimentary 8×10 print along with their regular photograph. It’s a small thank-you, not something you need to opt into.

  • At launch, the project will be available to U.S. residents. If there’s interest from international subscribers, international shipping may be added later.

  • There’s no fixed date yet. I’m taking my time to make sure the experience feels right before opening it up.

  • You’ll simply receive an email when the project is ready to launch.
